And Scene is like a book club, but for films. The members have complete control over the films selected for viewing.
Every two weeks a theme is chosen. This may be genre, director, actor, period, country of origin, etc. Members then get to suggest and vote on films that fall into this theme. Once a winning film is selected members will have two weeks to view the film. At the end of this two-week window a discussion forum is opened for 48 hours where members will have the opportunity to share their theories and questions.
Rinse and repeat.
